Full Moon in Libra, 2024

The Full Worm Moon in Libra on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 am CST

A Full Moon rises just as the Sun sets; the two are directly across from each other in the sky. In the language of Astrology, Oppositions ask for two sides of an axis to understand each other. Full Moons are also notorious for bringing things to the forefront.

The Full Moon in Libra is opposite the Sun in Aries. This opposition calls for an understanding between the Self (Aries) and the Other (Libra).

This Full Moon features a lunar eclipse in Libra, adding to the intensity.

This Full Moon is also at the last degree of Libra, the Cardinal Air Sign. Libra’s symbol is a scale, which represents keeping things in balance. Air signs align with how we think and how we communicate. The last degree of a sign is always significant, almost like the quality of the sign has gone into overdrive.

This Full Moon is also opposing Neptune (Dreams and Visions) in Pisces (the most Dreamy and Visionary of Signs). This could signal a tendency to be lost in the clouds of how we wish things could be.

This Full Moon is also in a Trine (Easy) aspect to Pluto (Insight) which may balance that Neptunian dream with some important truths—especially in our relationships with other people.

Now is the time to see the truth about how we’re thinking, especially about how we balance Our Own Needs with the Needs of The Other. Whatever fantasies we’ve been believing in may be revealed as unsustainable during this Full Moon. Or we may find a practical solution to bringing something to fruition—if we can be real with ourselves.

What truths have you been sidestepping? What's bubbling up that you've been hesitant to address? What is it you really want to say?
