Full Moon in Aries, 2023

The Full Harvest Moon in Aries:  Friday, September 29 2023 at 4:57 am CDT

The Moon officially turns Full when it reaches the spot exactly opposite the Sun.  Supermoons are full Moons that occur at or near perigee (when the moon is closest to the Earth in its orbit) so it appears larger than usual.

This Full Moon is the last of the Super Moons for this year.  It will be visible in the early morning hours on Friday but because it appears so brightly, we’ll be seeing it in the night sky days before and after it’s exact fullness.

Full Moons always bring things to fruition.  This extra bright Harvest Moon is in Aries, the Cardinal Fire Sign.  Aries is the sign of the Warrior and the Protector. It represents the part of us that loves to take Action.

Under this Full Moon in Aries, it’s the perfect time to shake off confusion or lethargy and do what you instinctively know is Right Action.
