Full Moon in Pisces, 2023

The Super Blue Full Moon in Pisces will take place on Wednesday, August 30 2023 at 9:35 pm EDT

This is the second Full Moon in August, therefore a “Blue” Moon. "Super" Moons are at a point in their orbit where they are closer to Earth, making the Moon appear larger than we're used to seeing her.

Full Moons always bring things up to consciousness. This Full Moon is in the sign of Pisces, a mutable water sign. Water is associated with emotions and mutable signs are associated with changeability.

Pisces is a sensitive sign; it senses energies other signs might not be aware of.

This Full Moon in Pisces (the intuitive body) is conjunct Saturn (material reality) and may have us feeling a bit overwhelmed by the physical world.  Our feelings may demand attention through some kind of physical manifestation, like an aching muscle or stymied plans.

This Full Moon period is a good time to go on retreat, practice ritual, get in touch with your feelings, and above all, be kind to your body.
